Description
This advertisement was in an issue right before Christmas time which is obvious since the ad says 'Th most popular Xmas gift.' Perhaps back then this really was a very popular gift as opposed to now. They do seem very elegant, customized and durable. While this may not have been the time when the fountain pens were released they still seem to have some appeal to the general public.
