A man using a horse drawn plow.

Assuming the name on the picture was written at the time


this picture was taken, this picture comes from 1916 or


later. Though Bryan Hall was built in 1909, it did not


receive that name until 1916.

Card is postmarked 1916.

Silver Lake was created in 1899- it is a man-made lake.

Silver Lake was filled in in the early 1920s, and Mooberry

Track is now located where Silver Lake was.

Van Doren Hall and the Bryan Hall clock tower can be

seen on the hill…

Van Doren Hall was built in 1908. The 1911 date is

taken from the postmark.

Science Hall was built in 1901. It was renamed Murrow Hall

in 1972. This photo seems to have been taken facing

south-east, from a Thompson Hall window.

This photo looks north-east towards the building. The

Old Gym was originally built in 1901, though part of it had

been built in 1892 as the Crib.

Looking west at people and a dog walk on a snow covered

sidewalk on Main Street with the old Artesian Hotel in the

background.

The Home Economics Building was built in 1928, and renamed

White Hall in 1960 after M. Elmina White.

Senior Hall stood where Wilmer-Davis hall now stands, at the

corner of Campus and Thatuna. It was built in 1916, and

torn down in the mid to late 1930s.
